REduction soutenable de la pauVrete Energetique (REVE)

This project, coordinated by Aude Pommeret, aims to think about reducing energy poverty upstream so that it is compatible with sustainability objectives. Analyzes are carried out on energy poverty in France, pollution and access to clean energy. Different methodologies are mobilized to take into account the many aspects of energy vulnerability, to highlight the mechanisms involved and to provide energy policy recommendations.
The ANR REVE will end in 2018. It will shed light on central theoretical and empirical issues around the issue of energy poverty and its relation to pollution and sustainability. On the other hand, it has led to the proposal of well-developed economic policy instruments to reduce energy poverty in pollution contexts from energy use and climate change. To date, it has resulted in more than twenty working papers (including seven publications) that have been presented in more than ten international conferences.

The main results of this project have been presented during a workshop organized at IREGE on 22 and 23 March 2018.
