INTERREG IOP

Open and Prospective Innovation

This project is managed by Romain GANDIA (French leader) and Catherine EQUEY (Swiss leader) and is carried on during the 2018-2021 period. Its aim is to achieve three goals: (1) identifying the levers and barriers to open innovation in SMEs from the social and digital economies, (2) gaining more insight into the tracks of open innovation in SMEs and (3) creating a participative prospective digital platform in order to foster the development of open innovation projects and to contribute to the economic growth of cross-border SMEs.

Funded in the context of the Interreg program – France-Switzerland 2014-2020, this project gathers more than twenty actors from the academic and professional fields from three territories, namely the department of Haute-Savoie, the canton of Vaud and the canton of Geneva, during 29 months.

The wide range of implied actors, the cross-boarder dimension and the dynamics of this project make it a sound and fruitful approach benefiting the region and its economic structure.
