After having benefited from a diagnosis of maturity in terms of open innovation (Axis 1), the partner companies of the IOPEN Chair, together with the IREGE researchers, wanted to go further to understand the conditions favorable to the emergence of an innovation ecosystem (Axis 2). This question, still unresolved at the scientific level, was the subject of an in-depth study based on concrete cases under development in the partner companies. The results feedback session, which took place on December 8, 2022, was another highlight: each company was able to assess the state of progress of its ecosystem, evaluate the conditions (favorable or not) for its emergence, and share recommendations and best practices with the researchers and other companies. A fine example of open innovation that creates collective value! We are already looking forward to the launch of Axis 3, which will seek to evaluate the results of open innovation at the end of the processes undertaken by the member companies of the IOPEN Chair.
